Golden Rod - solidago sp. - A kidney tonic - stimulates and flushes the kidneys. A diuretic, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory herb for the urinary tract that is used for disorders from cystitis to nephritis. Also an anti-fungal. Topically, goldenrod relieves insect bites, aids the healing of wounds, eczema, ulcers etc.
